Well I don't know if people knew or not about the game this sunday for the Men's Lacrosse team; but it was #2 ranked Cincinatti that came here in hopes to knock us out of our #1 ranked position. Although they tried we were able to remain on top with a final of 10-8. This is going to give us the number one seed entering the playoffs and a favorite to win the National Tournament this year. The look on there faces after the game could be one that's labled PRICELESS, you could tell that they came in prepared to try and win in hopes to attain the #1 ranking. Although they drove in a night before to get enough rest and what had looked like to be focused in the pregame we were able to get to our game early by getting a couple goals and playing solid defense. That really set the tone for the game our defense and goaltending were putting on a clinic. We controlled the ball for the majority of the game and basically had control of the whole game despite the final score.
Keep checking back, there are going to be more posts talking about our playoff and national status/experience. Thanks!!
Congratulations on the #1 seed Ry! You guys seem like you have it all together :) Slippery Rock men's lacrosse did a great job this season. All of you boys should be proud of yourselves! Seemed like you guys mentally prepared yourselves for that game and it paid off! I definitely look forward to hearing more about your experience because that sort of thing doesn't happen too often! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCool man. I just posted about the same thing. I wish I would have looked at your post first. Oh well I figure not everyone will see both of ours on here. I think we have a legitimate chance at taking it all. By the way, you're ugly bro.
